DJ
A great wedding DJ does more than play songs — they read the room, pace the night, and handle the transitions that make a Malta wedding flow from ceremony to dinner to dancing. The DJs listed on Marry Me Malta cover the full island, from Sliema and St Julian's hotel receptions to rural Gozo farmhouses and beach clubs. Most bring their own sound system, lighting, and a wireless microphone for speeches and announcements, and many also offer ceremony audio for outdoor or civil ceremonies. Malta's wedding season runs long and Saturdays book early, so once your venue is confirmed, lock in your DJ — the best are taken 9–12 months ahead for peak weekends. Below you'll find specialists who understand multi-generational, international guest lists and can mix Maltese favourites with mainstream international sets. Use the listings to compare style, equipment, and pricing, then enquire directly with your date.

Expect €1,000–€2,500 for a professional Malta wedding DJ covering a 5–6 hour reception, with sound and lighting included. Premium and weekend-peak dates push toward the top of that range; shoulder-season Fridays and Sundays are softer. Travel between Malta and Gozo is usually billed separately.
Sets and first-dance logistics
Most DJs run a continuous set from first dance through the end of the night, with natural breaks around cake-cutting and speeches. Send your first-dance track and a do-not-play list at least two weeks out; a good DJ will also ask for a few must-plays and the ceremony timeline if they're providing audio.
